Take a Closer Look at the Virgil Abloh x NIGO LV² Trainer

Two streetwear giants link up for luxury kicks.

Streetwear icons Virgil Abloh and NIGO expand their Louis Vuitton collaboration into LV’s sneaker lineup, bringing a fresh perspective to the LV² trainer.

Described by Abloh as a “creative conversation,” the IRL friends began their Louis Vuitton partnership in 2020 with a logo-driven collection of apparel, accessories, jewelry and footwear. For their second capsule under the French design house, Abloh and NIGO bring their graphic aesthetics to the LV² trainer, applying monogram denim and Human Made artwork to the luxury sneaker.

Louis Vuitton describes the LV² as a “fusion of British dandy and Japanese street culture,” although it’s worth noting that the silhouette borrows heavily from retro Nike and Air Jordans.

The Virgil x NIGO LV² Trainers are available now at Louis Vuitton.
