What are your favorite holiday movies and why?
101 Dalmatians and NANA, which are both animations. NANA is a cartoon that I watch every year regardless of the season and is the first movie that comes to mind when I think of the end of the year.
Who is your favorite character?
NANA.
Who do you plan on watching these movies with this holiday season?
Maybe I’ll watch it with my husband.

What are your favorite holiday movies and why?
My two favorite holiday movies are Home Alone and Gremlins. I love Home Alone because I grew up in a strict household and Kevin seemed to be living every kid’s dream… and nightmare. After watching Home Alone for the first time as a young kid, I got a lot more inventive with the way I created things — out of the box thinking, if you will. Gremlins got me addicted to horror — I don’t think my parents quite understood how terrifying this movie is for a young girl. Luckily for them, I got hooked and that’s probably where my love of scary things comes from.
Who are your favorite characters in these movies?
Macaulay Culkin as Kevin was just amazing. I remember wishing to be his friend, but also being really scared for him during most of the movie. In Gremlins, I loved Kate. She was just so beautiful and I really admired her style.
Who are you planning on watching these movies with this holiday season?
I’m hoping my niece and nephew are old enough to endure Gremlins and appreciate the cute little guys before they freak out on the town. We will see about the rest of the family.

What is your favorite holiday movie and why?
Carol. First of all, it’s not a very conventional holiday movie. The plot is set during the holiday season, but its motifs surpass simply celebrating festivities as it also celebrates love. Who could resist a romance story based on this holiday? It brings forth heartwarming feelings to those watching it — be it by yourself or with your significant other.
Who is your favorite character?
My favorite character would be Therese Belivet, who is played by Rooney Mara. Her growth from a young and shy girl to a mature and stable woman showcases themes of a fragile woman rising like a phoenix from the ashes, which is very charming.
Who are you planning on watching these movies with this holiday season?
By myself or with my significant other.

What are your favorite holiday movies and why?
It’s hard to choose my favorite two, but I watch Love Actually and The Santa Claus the most. Do I need to explain Love Actually? You can either love or hate this film, but it is impossible to avoid it during the holiday season. As for The Santa Claus, I like the film because growing up, I’ve always envisioned myself playing at the film’s version of the North Pole.
Who are your favorite characters in these movies?
Sam and Billy from Love Actually and Comet the reindeer from The Santa Claus. Comet loves sweets so much that it couldn’t even fly towards the end of the movie.
Who are you planning on watching these movies with this holiday season?
I currently have no plans — it depends on my mood.

What are your favorite holiday movies and why?
The Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack is cool. I think he is a handsome leader who brings everyone together. I also really like the unique story. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is also my favorite. It’s a movie that is always exciting and heartwarming. The honest and family-friendly pair of Charlie and Willy Wonka is the best.

Jack Skellington and Willy Wonka.
