Cardi B Plans to Release New Album in 2022
“It’s been a lot,” the rapper said on Instagram Live.
Cardi B is planning to drop a new album for her fans in 2022. The record would come after the rapper’s 2018 debut LP, Invasion of Privacy.
The musician took to Instagram Live earlier this week to update her fans. “You know, everything be looking so glamorous when you see my f*cking Instagram and everything, but it’s like… it’s been really… it’s been a lot. It’s been a lot trying to balance out my new motherf*cking life,” she expressed. “Like, I got two kids, my daughter’s going to school now, and I have, like, a lot of jobs now. I’m in a lot of positions that require a lot of my time, and on top of that, I gotta put out this album next year. Not only do I gotta put out an album, but like, I gotta record my movie, I gotta do so much shit, y’all.”
In addition to taking care of her children and creating new music, Cardi is set to star in the upcoming movie Assisted Living, marking her first acting gig. Most recently, she also launched her very own vodka-infused whipped cream and took on a new role as Creative Director in Residence at Playboy.
