Jennifer Lawrence's Baby Bump Makes Its Red Carpet Debut at the 'Don't Look Up' Premiere

A star in the making — literally.

What’s more iconic than Jennifer Lawrence? Jennifer Lawrence and her adorable baby bump. The pregnant actor showed off her growing belly at the Don’t Look Up film premiere in New York City on Sunday.

Lawrence was glowing in a dazzling gold Christian Dior dress, which she accessorized with Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger earrings. While this was Lawrence’s first time publicly showing off her baby bump, it was also her first major appearance in over two years. The Hunger Games star, who is expecting her first child with husband Cooke Maroney, hasn’t attended a film premiere since Dark Phoenix in June 2019.

It turns out, taking a break from the spotlight was much needed for her well-being. “I think that I was people-pleasing for the majority of my life. Working made me feel like nobody could be mad at me: ‘Okay, I said yes, we’re doing it. Nobody’s mad.’ And then I felt like I reached a point where people were not pleased just by my existence,” Lawrence recently told Vanity Fair.

In Don’t Look Up, Lawrence plays Dr. Kate Dibiasky, an astronomer who discovers a comet about to hit Earth. Catch the film in select theaters on December 10 and streaming on Netflix on December 24.
