Carhartt WIP Reworks Its Contemporary Pieces for SS21
Minimal, laidback silhouettes for everyday looks.
Following the release of its Spring/Summer 2021 collection last month, Carhartt WIP is back with a new range of essentials. Falling under its “Icons” and “Patina” lines, the latest garments feature robust canvas classics and contemporary reworkings of the brand’s signature designs.
Standout pieces include the Michigan Coat and Double Knee Pant that boast a pattern dubbed “Combi Camo,” which blends tree images with camouflage prints. Elsewhere, overdyed fabrics are bleached, creating dusty, washed-out hues that are splashed onto outerwear items and hoodies. Other styles such as trousers are crafted from black denim before going through the dying process, providing a murky effect. The lineup is rounded out with classic jersey silhouettes that come in a loose fit and are embroidered with two-tone branding.
