'Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience' Is Making Its Way to NYC This Summer

Back in October 2020, Exhibition Hub launched the popular Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Now, the European entertainment producer has announced that it will be bringing the digital art exhibition to New York City this June.

Visitors can expect cutting-edge 360-degree digital projections and unique VR experiences of the late artist’s famous paintings like Sunflowers and The Starry Night. You’ll be able to fully immerse yourself in Vincent van Gogh‘s masterpieces through digital displays, sound effects, projection mapping and more.

In light of the ongoing pandemic, the Exhibition Hub will ensure a safe experience throughout the duration of the exhibit. “We believe there is a pent-up demand for immersive entertainment in a COVID-safe environment,” said Exhibition Hub’s CEO Mario Iacampo in a press release. “As the world slowly returns to normal, Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience allows people to once again gather and enjoy art and entertainment in a safe, socially distanced manner.”

Upon arrival, visitors will be required to wear a face mask at all times and adhere to the CDC‘s anti-COVID transmission protocols. Hand sanitizer stations will be available on-site for extra safety measures. The exact location will be revealed in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, sign up via the exhibition’s official event page to be the first to grab tickets. Adult admission is priced at $36 USD, while children’s tickets start at $19.90 USD.
