A Behind-the-Scenes Look at How Dior's Sunglasses Are Made

Chic new eyewear styles to rock this spring.

Dior and LVMH Group’s eyewear expert Thélios have come together to create a new line of sunglasses for the Spring/Summer 2021 season. In celebration of the latest women’s and men’s styles, the fashion house has unveiled a behind-the-scenes look at how the shades are made.

Produced in the luxury label’s studios in Paris, each pair is first sketched out. The blueprints then come to life in Thélios’ workshops based in the Longarone region of Italy. Featuring innovative techniques and intricate craftsmanship, the eyewear pieces arrive in a variety of shapes and sizes that represent timeless modernity.
