Celebrate the Year of the Ox With These Red Pockets

Ahead of the Lunar New Year, brands have put together exclusive capsule collections and releases, as well as their own takes on the traditional red pockets that are given during the season. Known as Lai See or Hong Bao, red envelopes are an East Asian tradition where elders gift money to younger relatives to wish for luck and a prosperous year.
This year the Chinese Zodiac falls on the Year of the Ox, and we’re seeing brands like Burberry, Dior, Cartier, Valentino and more debut their own takes on the envelopes. We’re also seeing experimental versions from HBX which imitates a bubblewrap package, as well as The North Face that has opted for a multi-colored version.
