COMME des GARÇONS PLAY x Converse Rework the Classic Jack Purcell Silhouette
Dominated by neutral tones of gray and white.
COMME des GARÇONS PLAY and Converse have recently reworked a number of cop-worthy silhouettes, but it’s been 10 years since the duo has partnered on the Jack Purcell. Now, both labels have returned with brand new iterations of the classic sneaker.
The first style boasts black accents throughout, while the second sports striking red details. Both pairs are dominated by neutral tones of gray and white. Staying true to the original design, the shoes come with cushioned sockliners and insoles, as well as high traction herringbone rubber soles. Elsewhere, oversized heart logos can be found on the laterals and heels, while the insoles feature co-branding. Rounding out the pieces are the “Egret” shoelaces and rubber toe caps.
