KFC Designs New Reversible Bucket Hats in Red and White
Partial proceeds from the drop will be donated to Comic Relief for Red Nose Day.
Back in 2019, KFC Russia launched limited-edition bucket hats inspired by its red-and-white fried chicken containers. Now, the fast food joint’s UK branch has unveiled its own iteration of the fashion accessory available in two colorways: red and white.
In support of Red Nose Day, part of the proceeds from the sale will go to Comic Relief, one of the UK’s major charities dedicated to raising funds for people in need around the world. The collaborative reversible hat is embroidered with the iconic KFC Bucket on one side and the retro 1978 logo on the other. Elsewhere, KFC and Comic Relief branding can be found on the brim.
For each hat priced at £20 GBP (approximately $27 USD), £7 GBP (approximately $9 USD) will be allocated to the British charity in order to help young people in the UK achieve their goals. On top of that, from March 15 to 19, KFC will donate an additional £1 GBP (approximately $1.40 USD) for every fried chicken sharing bucket bought via takeaway, delivery, drive-thru or mobile ordering.
