Girlfriend Collective Expands Its Catalog With Swimwear
Must-have bikinis and one-pieces to rock this summer.
Known for its ethically-made activewear, Girlfriend Collective has just launched its first swimwear collection just in time for the hot and sunny days ahead. Dubbed GF Swim, the line features eight versatile styles including a selection of bikinis and one-pieces ranging from sizes XXS to 6XL.
According to the brand, swimwear fabric that won’t shed microfibers at all doesn’t exist. However, as part of Girlfriend Collective’s sustainability efforts, the new silhouettes are crafted from ECONYL® fabric, which consists of regenerated nylon made from old fishing nets and other post-industrial waste. With every GF Swim purchase, the label will donate one percent of its profits to Healthy Seas in support of its ongoing initiative in which the organization gathers approximately a half-pound of fishing nets from the ocean.
