LUAR Is Making Its Swimwear Debut With The Standard
Bringing it’s NYC energy to the pool.
LUAR is taking its signature New York energy to the pool. Fresh off Raúl Lopez’s headline-making Spring/Summer 2027 show at New York Fashion Week, the designer is turning his attention to swimwear for the first time, teaming up with The Standard on an exclusive new collaboration.
The partnership introduces the brand’s first-ever swim collection in the form of a limited-edition sunshine-yellow swim brief, finished with LUAR’s signature monogram hardware. It’s a small debut, but one that feels perfectly suited to the label’s larger-than-life approach to fashion.
The collaboration arrives just in time for Ibiza’s legendary closing season, with Lopez and The Standard hosting an intimate dinner at the hotel’s rooftop restaurant and bar. A month-long pop-up will follow, bringing together the swim brief and a curated selection of LUAR’s poolside essentials.
Part of The Standard’s ongoing ShopTheStandard collaboration series, the partnership sits at the intersection of fashion, art and culture, three worlds that have long shaped Lopez’s work.
Available in limited quantities, the LUAR x The Standard swim brief will be sold at The Standard Ibiza and Miami, as well as via LUAR and The Standard’s websites. Consider this LUAR’s first official invitation to get in the water.
