Nike Updates Air Max Pre-Day Sneaker With "Black/Gray" Colorway
The silhouette made its initial debut earlier this year for Air Max Day.
Last month, Nike debuted a new sneaker silhouette dubbed Air Max Pre-Day just in time for Air Max Day. Now, the sportswear giant has added a monochromatic colorway to the lineup.
Like its lime green counterpart, the “Black/Gray” pair is made using 20 percent recycled material as part of Nike’s ongoing sustainability efforts. Dressed in jet black, the shoe comes with synthetic overlays at the toe and collar, while a light gray hue takes center stage on the forefoot and heel. The added design elements complement the tonal Swoosh stitched across the laterals. The footwear style is rounded out with a white midsole, a speckled black outsole and a transparent Air sole unit.
The Air Max Pre-Day “Black/Gray” is set to release at 7 p.m. EST on May 1 via Nike Japan’s web store for ¥15,400 JPY (approximately $142 USD).
