New Balance Names Teddy Santis New Creative Director

The Aimé Leon Dore founder joins the footwear giant.

New Balance has just appointed Aimé Leon Dore founder Teddy Santis as creative director of the label’s MADE in USA line. Santis revealed the news in an Instagram post, writing, “I’m beyond proud, honored and humbled to announce my Creative Director role at New Balance MADE in USA starting 2022.”

The New Balance MADE in USA is the label’s lifestyle-centric line, which features fan-favorite silhouettes like the 992, 993 and the 990V5 sneakers. 70% of the collection is also constructed at NB’s five US-based facilities. It is yet unclear exactly what Teddy Santis’ new role will entail, but we know for sure that he’ll be looking to bring in new models and create new marketing and initiatives at the label. “I see a tremendous opportunity to tell authentic stories with real people at the forefront, creating global campaigns that connect our core values with the world,” he wrote in his Instagram post.

Take a look at the full announcement in the post below, and stay tuned as Teddy Santis will take on the new role in 2022.
