Nike Basketball Signs 7 New WNBA Rookies Ahead of 25th Season
For teams Dallas Wings, Las Vegas Aces, New York Liberty and more.
New members include Charli Collier (center), Rennia Davis (guard), Awak Kuier (forward), Aari McDonald (point guard), Michaela Onyenwere (forward), DiDi Richards (guard) and Iliana Rupert (forward). Each athlete was selected to join the Nike family for their sportsmanship and authenticity both on and off-court. “This is a pivotal year for the WNBA and an empowering time for women’s basketball. We’re excited for these seven strong and influential athletes to join our extensive Nike roster, and we look forward to growing the game together,” Nike’s VP of Global Women’s Sports Marketing Tanya Hvizdak shared in a statement.
