Weekday Readies for Summer With "Virtual Beach" SS21 Swimwear Campaign
Featuring statement styles made out of recycled material.
With summer fast approaching, Weekday has recently released its latest Spring/Summer 2021 swimwear collection. The line is comprised of men’s and women’s silhouettes made out of recycled material.
Dreaming of post-pandemic days, the label has created a “virtual beach” geotag on Instagram to coincide with its campaign for everyone to “meet at the beach” this summer. The Baywatch- and Matrix-inspired visuals highlight the “feeling of togetherness and inclusiveness at the core,” as per the brand’s press release.
Standouts include the Tide Bikini Top featuring a soft lining and tie-up closure that creates a ruching effect in front, as well as the Heat Printed Tankini that provides extra flexibility and comfort. Elsewhere, the Ava Printed Bikini Top boasts a tie-dye print, and comes with spaghetti straps and a thin elasticated band. Take a closer look at the “Virtual Beach” campaign above.
Weekday’s SS21 swimwear collection is now available online.
