Oreo Celebrates Pride With Rainbow Cookie Packs

Inspired by the Gilbert Baker, bi+, lesbian, pansexual and trans Pride flags.

In honor of Pride Month, Oreo has teamed up with LGBTQ+ organization PFLAG National on 3,000 limited-edition OREOiD Pride packs. The different combinations are inspired by the traditional Gilbert Baker Pride flag, the bi+ Pride flag, the lesbian Pride flag, the pansexual Pride flag and the trans Pride flag.

Through this initiative, the duo aims to encourage “members of the LGBTQ+ community and their families to share their experiences of those first conversations with their loved ones, to inspire, educate and bring attention to those pivotal first words,” as per a press release. Additionally, Oreo has tapped four LGBTQ+ artists –  Zipeng Zhu, Braulio Amado, Kris Andrew Small and Phædra Charles – to create graphic art pieces. The creations feature what parents or friends first said when a loved one came out, along with uplifting, rewritten phrases placed on top.

Take a closer look at the offerings above. Head over to Oreo’s website to learn more about the upcoming OREOiD Pride packs.
