Dior's Micro Saddle Bag Only Fits the Essentials
Honey, I shrunk the Saddle.
Dior just dropped a palm-sized version of the Saddle bag. Part of the house’s new “Micro” collection, the shrunken down handbag measures at four-by-three inches, just enough space for for your keys, AirPods and credit card.
Despite its tiny proportions, the bag still packs all the luxe detailing of the full-sized Saddle. Signature branding including “CD” hardware at the strap and a “D” charm at the closure remain intact, and pricing lingers in the thousands. Shoppers can choose from three colorways: “Cloud Blue,” “Rose des Vents” and black.
Iconic styles including the Lady, Caro and 30 Montaigne also receive the micro-mini treatment. Hardly bigger than a smartphone, the silhouettes arrive in a range of cheery spring shades including “Queen Mint,” “Poppy Red” and “Vert Tundra,” a vibrant teal.
Dior’s “Micro” bag collection ranges from $2,550 to $3,500 USD at the Dior website.
