MANU Atelier x ROTATE Team Up To Design Heels and Boots
Footwear designs for your post-lockdown looks.
Danish fashion label ROTATE and accessories brand MANU Atelier have joined forces to design a collection of heels and boots. Arriving in five styles total, the capsule is ideal for completing post-lockdown outfits.
”We have always admired each other’s work and loved Jeannette and Thora’s aesthetics as well as their designs… This is our first collaboration so we wanted to make sure that it was the right one and this one felt right from the start,” MANU Atelier’s creative director Merve Manastir shares with HYPEBAE. “It all happened very naturally – we all agreed that we wanted this capsule to be unique and fuse both brands and inspire people.” She adds: “Since we designed it during the pandemic, it was important for us to create something fun and aspirational. This collection is really about joy, injecting colors and embracing life especially after a year of staying home and living in leggings and wearing trainers.”
The collaboration is the perfect balance between the two labels’ aesthetics, with MANU Atelier’s footwear silhouettes adorned with ROTATE’s prints taken from its Fall/Winter 2021 collection. The Evelina sandals, arriving in baby pink and sky blue options, are highlighted with tonal ankle straps, while the Caterina pumps are dressed in turquoise and white. Standing out from the collection is the Mabilia Patent Boot, which features a squared black-and-white heel.
