Clara Colette Miramon Launches Childhood-Inspired Collection, "butterfly season one"

The Berlin designer splashes psychedelic prints across her body-hugging silhouettes.

Clara Colette Miramon, a Berlin-based designer who focuses on sustainable practices by producing in small quantities, has unveiled her latest “butterfly season one” collection. Along with the launch, the rising creative is making her designs directly available through her newly-opened web store.

For the Fall/Winter 2021 range, the emerging name — who already has celebrity fans like Doja Cat — takes inspiration from her childhood, incorporating ballet-influenced themes into body-hugging silhouettes. Standing out from the collection is a psychedelic butterfly print, which is splashed across items like cropped tops, bodysuits and corsets. Flared leggings are added to the mix, highlighting the label’s interpretation of sexiness and the intimate relationship we have with our bodies.

“Fashion, ultimately, is my medium to envision the complexity of female sexuality and how it can exist outside the male gaze,” the designer shares in a press release. The collection aims to reduce impact by using upcycled tablecloths that date back almost 80 years.
