Daniel Arsham Recreates Tiffany & Co.'s Iconic Blue Box
The artist has also reimagined the Tiffany Knot bracelet for the collaboration.
Adding to his vast lineup of collaborators including the likes of Suicoke and Pokémon, artist Daniel Arsham has now joined forces with Tiffany & Co. to reimagine the iconic blue box.
Aptly titled Blue Box, Circa 3021, the partnership builds on Arsham’s signature “Future Relics” style to create the Bronze Eroded Tiffany Blue Box sculpture, which arrives as a limited edition of 49 pieces. The Tiffany Knot bracelet, recreated by the contemporary artist in 18k white gold, is placed inside each box. The bronze sculpture and the limited jewelry piece are complete with a Tiffany Blue carrying case stamped with Tiffany & Co. and Arsham Studio’s branding.
“I always gravitate towards items that are immediately culturally recognizable. The Tiffany Blue Box® has that power,” Arsham spoke of the collaboration. “I wanted to address it in a way different than how it was originally intended by giving it a distressed, aged quality which represents its history, how much of a fixture it is in our world today, and how it will continue to be relevant decades, even centuries from now.”
