Naomi Osaka Officially Launches Her Skincare Line, Kinlò

Designed for melanated skin tones.

While she takes a break from tennis indefinitely, Naomi Osaka is keeping busy with other projects such as her newly launched skincare brand dubbed Kinlò. First teased back in April, the label caters to those with more melanin in their skin.

“I’m so excited to share Kinló with you! I founded Kinlò (a functional skincare line for people with melanated skin) to address a public health need around skin cancer prevention within our POC communities,” Osaka shared on Instagram. “Tennis can be challenging at times, but it has given me this platform which I am so grateful for. It allows me to help others in ways I wouldn’t have imagined otherwise. Hope you like it!”

The inaugural release includes four products designed for Black and brown skin tones. The Golden Rays Sunscreen SPF 50+ is mineral-based and non-chemical, and also provides a matte finish without leaving a white cast. To soothe and cool down your complexion after spending time under the sun, use the Hydrating Golden Mist infused with healing properties of calendula and aloe vera.

Switch up your morning and evening skincare regime with the Hydrating Eye Cream, which nourishes sensitive eyelids and under-eye areas. You can also opt for the Golden Ritual Skincare Set featuring the aforementioned products and a Hydrating Lip Balm.

Priced from $14.99 to $50 USD, Kinlò’s offerings are now available online.
