Saint Laurent Is Returning to Paris Fashion Week

A year after dropping out of the traditional calendar.

After declaring that it would drop out of Paris Fashion Week due to the ongoing pandemic, Saint Laurent is now returning to the fashion calendar to showcase its Spring/Summer 2022 collection.

The fashion house’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello previously shared that the decision was made to escape from the traditional schedule. “Slowing down and living the moment reveals all the vulnerabilities of an imprisoned organization. What is out of fashion now is the schedule of the entire system: the shows, the showrooms, the orders,” he commented in a conversation with WWD.

With the industry back to showing physical presentations, Saint Laurent will be joining the fashion calendar again alongside returnees such as Balenciaga, Loewe and Maison Margiela, as listed in the official PFW schedule published by the French Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.

Saint Laurent’s SS22 presentation is slated to take place on September 28 at 8 p.m. local time, with PFW running from September 27 to October 5.
