Cardi B Admits She Was Suicidal After YouTuber Tasha K's Allegations
The rapper testifies against the vlogger during a libel trial.
Cardi B appeared in court to testify on how YouTuber Tasha K‘s allegations negatively affected her mental health.
The Bronx native said she “wanted to commit suicide over the things” Tasha said about her. The vlogger, whose real name is Latasha Kebe, made videos in 2018 and 2019 claiming Cardi was a prostitute, who contracted multiple STIs. The allegations led Cardi to take action and file a lawsuit against Kebe.
While opening up to the federal juror, Cardi revealed that the rumors affected her relationship with her husband, Offset. “I felt defeated and depressed, and I didn’t want to sleep with my husband,” she said, adding it also affected her as a mom. She felt like she “didn’t deserve my kid.”
