Daily Paper has unveiled its Spring/Summer 2022 lookbook featuring designs inspired by hip-hop culture.

“I enjoyed working on this collection a lot as hip-hop has always been, and still is, a big inspiration to us,” the brand’s co-founder Abderrahmane Trabsini shares in a press release. “The influence of hip-hop and its community had a significant impact on how Daily Paper came to life. First through telling stories around street culture on our blog which later evolved to become the fashion brand we are today.”

Select looks throw it back to the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s, with nostalgic monogram sweatsuits arriving in oversized fits. Denim dungarees are also included, in addition to versatile tank tops and bandana prints. A touch of contrast is added with tailoring as spotted on a blazer and mini skirt, as well as pinstripe suits. The collection further celebrates the African diaspora with red, black and green colors on halter neck dresses, satin tracksuits and more.

Peep the full collection above. The SS22 range will launch on January 14 via Daily Paper’s website, as well as the brand’s flagships in Amsterdam, London and New York at 12 p.m. CET and EST.
