Maison Margiela Updates 5AC Bag With Biodegradable Rubber
Highlighted with “Torchon” print on the inner lining.
Adding more sustainable options to its lineup, Maison Margiela is introducing its 5AC bag in biodegradable rubber.
The handbag style first made its debut on the house’s Spring/Summer 2016 “Défilé” runway. Arriving in a classic silhouette, the purse is known for its signature detail revealing part of the inner lining. The piece is complete with Margiela’s iconic four stitches.
The updated design, dubbed the Rubber 5AC, is offered in white, tan, yellow, red, blue, gray and black. Each colorway is highlighted with “Torchon” print on the recycled cotton lining. Introducing the bag for Spring/Summer 2022, Margiela plans to release a mini-sized option later in the season.
