ARKET's New Blankets are the Perfect Winter Accessory
Designed in collaboration with Stockholm-based artist, Evelina Kroon.
ARKET has launched a line of exclusive wool blankets, designed in collaboration with Stockholm-based artist Evelina Kroon, just in time for the Fall/Winter season. Manufactured by Swedish woollen mill Klippan, each blanket is designed to bring a sense of warmth and creative joy to living spaces.
Comprised of four colorways, the blanket collection features hues of green and yellow, pink and red, purple and blue and pink and green. Utilizing Kroon’s signature ‘tape paintings’ style, the blankets draw on the artist’s simplistic but powerful nature, offering a hybrid between decorative arts and cozy homeware staples.
“ARKET has a well-curated home section with many successful collaborations before me,” says Evelina Kroon in a press release. “It was an opportunity to work with a new kind of craft and material. I really appreciate utility objects, and a blanket is sure to be considered functional. It can be spread over a sofa or bed, protecting against dirt and wear while adding a warming and comforting layer to the room,” she adds.
The ARKET and Evelina Kroon blankets are available from the brand’s website from October 20, alongside in select physical stores.
