Denim Bras, Satin Dresses and Lace-Up Mules Highlight Givenchy's SS23 Collection

Matthew M. Williams brought a mix of motorsports and evening wear to the runway styled by Carine Roitfeld.

With stars like Doja Cat, aespa, Ye, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz in attendance, Matthew M. Williams showcased his Spring/Summer 2023 collection for Givenchy.

The designer tapped Carine Roitfeld to style the runway, which spotlighted some of the season’s biggest trends. Shirred dresses in a wide range of colors were equipped with gloves, while similar styles arrived in the form of midi-length skirts and tops. Bras marked a highlight this time around, with belt buckles accentuating the design arriving in leather and denim.

The collection saw a range of motorsports-inspired looks, including sharp sunglasses paired with knee-length cargo shorts. For an added touch of contrast, models walked out in tweed sets and slip dresses.

In footwear, ballet-inspired details remained a mainstay with lace-up mules, boots and flats. The collection was complete with cropped hoodies, zip-up gloves, oversized jackets and asymmetrical dresses.
