Lili Reinhart Says She Won't Be Invited Back to the Met Gala Because of Her Kim Kardashian Comments
Regarding the reality star’s weight loss for the Marilyn Monroe dress.
Lili Reinhart doesn’t believe she will be invited to the Met Gala from now on after calling out Kim Kardashian.
If you don’t recall, the Riverdale actor made comments pertaining to Kardashian’s controversial Marilyn Monroe dress, which required her to lose 16 pounds in three weeks in order for it to be able to fit.
“That was fun,” Reinhart told W for a new interview. “But after going again this year, I don’t think I’ll be invited back. I said a certain something about a certain person in a certain dress.”
Back in May, Reinhart shared the following on social media: “To openly admit to starving yourself for the sake of the Met Gala [when] you know very well that millions of young men and women are looking up to you and listening to your every word … [the] ignorance is other-worldly disgusting.”
At the 2022 Met Gala, Kardashian proudly raved about her transformation regarding the Bob Mackie-designed piece. She revealed at the time, “I would wear a sauna suit twice a day, run on the treadmill, completely cut out all sugar and all carbs, and just eat the cleanest veggies and protein.”
