Maserati Goes Full Barbiecore
The car brand taps Barbie for its all-new SUV.
Luxury car brand Maserati has joined forces with Mattel to create the ultimate Barbiecore-themed car. Offering an all-pink version of its latest Grecale SUV vehicle, the collaboration sees both brands unite through their mutual desire to break boundaries and challenge convention.
The car’s exteriors are transformed into a Barbie pink hue, sealed in an iridescent topcoat that shines like the rainbow. Complete with clean black interiors, the car features full-leather touches across its seats, dashboards and carpets, alongside pink accent stitching and signature “B” badges.
The partnership aims to benefit the Barbie Dream Gap Project, the Barbie brand’s charity initiative which seeks to promote equal opportunity for girls. The custom model reportedly costs $330,000 USD, available as a U.S. exclusive of just two units worldwide.
