Porter Is Dropping Bags Inspired by Studio Ghibli's 'My Neighbor Totoro'
Featuring beloved characters like Totoro, Dust Bunnies and Cat Bus.
A year after its initial release, Porter is returning with a second collaboration with Studio Ghibli, specifically focused on the film My Neighbor Totoro and its main character, Totoro.
Arriving just in time for the Fall/Winter 2022 season, the range takes some of Hayao Miyazaki‘s most iconic characters — Totoro, Dust Bunnies and Cat Bus — which are transformed into backpacks, tote bags, accessories and more. Bags feature fuzzy accents on pockets inspired by Cat Bus, along with a cloudy “Night Forest” print for contrast. Elsewhere, Dust Bunnies appear on badges accompanied by keychain accessories and plush toys in the shape of the beloved characters.
See the full range in the gallery above. The Totoro x Porter collection launches on October 19 at Tokyo’s Isetan Shinjuku department store, which will feature a special pop-up celebrating the collaboration.
