Nike Brings a Lunar New Year Theme to the Dunk High
Coming this January.
Last year, Nike honored Lunar New Year with a handful of sneaker silhouettes, among them a striped ZoomX Vaporfly, quilted Blazer Mid and embroidered Air Force 1 Low.
This time around The Swoosh brings the theme to a Nike Dunk High donning a “Summit White,” “Desert Ore,” “Light Bone,” “Evergreen,” “Sail” and “Yellow Gold” color story.
A “Gold Mountain” logo lands on the shoe’s lateral heel, a call out to the Chinese nickname for the West Coast during the Gold Rush of the 1840s. The metallic gold detailing continues onto the shoe’s tongue branding and insole as well.
Other design details include a hairy suede Swoosh, translucent outsole and hunter green hits on the lining and heel tab.
The Nike Dunk High “Lunar New Year” is expected to release in January for $135 USD. Preview the sneaker in the carousel above and stay tuned for additional drop details.
