
Rex Orange County Charged With 6 Counts of Sexual Assault

Musician Rex Orange County has been charged with sexual assault.
As reported by The Sun, the 24-year-old artist — whose real name is Alexander James O’Connor — is being accused of assaulting a woman six times from June 1 to 2 of this year. He allegedly assaulted the individual twice in London‘s West End, once in a cab and three times at his home in Notting Hill.
As of writing, the musician has denied all counts, with a three-day trial date set for January 3, 2023, after being unconditionally bailed.
A representative of Rex Orange County told Pitchfork, “Alex is shocked by the allegations which he denies and looks forward to clearing his name in court. He is unable to make any further comment because of the ongoing proceedings.”
