Taylor Swift Is the First Artist in History to Occupy the Entire Top 10 Spots on the Billboard Hot 100
She wasn’t playing when she called herself a mastermind.
Taylor Swift continues to break records thanks to her latest album, Midnights. She has become the first artist to simultaneously occupy the entire top 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100 song chart, with “Anti-Hero” leading as the No. 1 spot. It’s her ninth No. 1 in her music career.
All ten tracks are from Midnights, appearing in the following order from No. 1 to No. 10: “Anti-Hero,” “Lavender Haze,” “Maroon,” “Snow on the Beach,” “Midnight Rain,” “Bejeweled,” “Question…?” “You’re on Your Own, Kid,” “Karma” and Vigilante Shit.”
This achievement also means she’s surpassed Drake, who in September 2021 occupied nine out of the top 10 spots on the same chart.
According to Billboard, “Swift also surges past Drake and The Beatles for the most titles from the top of the Hot 100 in a single week, as her monopoly of the top 10 bests those acts, each of whom infused the top five for a week each in 2021 and 1964, respectively.”
