SHINee's Minho Navigates Life as an Aspiring Fashion Photographer in 'The Fabulous' Trailer
The latest K-drama to hit Netflix.
Netflix is set to roll out its latest TV series from South Korea, titled The Fabulous.
Starring SHINee‘s Choi Minho and Chae Soobin, the anticipated K-drama is based on the fashion industry, following a group of friends just getting started in their careers in the field. Chae Soobin plays a fashion marketer, Choi Minho portrays the role of an aspiring fashion photographer, Park Heejung plays a fashion model and Lee Sangwoon a fashion designer.
The synopsis reads, “It is not easy for the four friends who are building their careers as marketers, photographers, designers and models; they are knocked over and faced with challenges, but as they have always done, they push forward once again. The ‘fabulous’ four friends cheer on one another in all sorts of difficulties while making the best of efforts in both their careers and romantic relationships.”
The trailer for the show spotlights familiar spots in Seoul, including Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), where Seoul Fashion Week usually takes place. Chae explains in a press release, “The series consists not only of the chemistry of the four friends but also captures the most glamorous locations and attractions in Seoul.” Choi adds, “I believe the viewers will be able to enjoy the series even more if they can fully understand and empathize with the passion, thoughts and emotions of each character.”
The series marks the first major role in acting for Park Heejung, who is also a model in real life. She has walked for multiple brands, such as Rick Owens, Balmain, Dior and Louis Vuitton as an exclusive model for Fall/Winter 2017.
