Beyoncé has made history by receiving the most nominations for the 2023 Grammys, tying with her husband Jay-Z with a total of 88 nods.

The Renaissance singer received a total of nine nominations for the upcoming awards while the rapper received five nods for his participation in Queen Bey’s album as well as DJ Khaled’s track “God Did.” The singer’s record is being considered for Album of the Year as “Be Alive” received a nomination in the R&B category. She also is in the running for Song and Record of the Year with hit tracks like “Break My Soul.”

Beyoncé currently holds the title of the female artist with the most Grammy wins at 28, while Jay-Z has won 24 titles. The musician with the most Grammy wins of all time is conductor Georg Solti with 31 trophies.

Closely following Beyoncé in the Grammy 2023 nominations are Adele and Harry Styles, who earned seven and six nods, respectively. Elsewhere, BTS is in the running for three titles, including Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Album of the Year and Best Music Video.
