Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde Are No Longer Together
After almost two years.
Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde have called it quits after a nearly two-year-long relationship.
The news comes after sources told People that the two were “taking a break.” “He’s still touring and is now going abroad. She is focusing on her kids and her work in LA. It’s a very amicable decision,” a source shared. They noted that the two stars are “still very close friends” and that “right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart.”
Styles and Wilde were first linked in September 2020 when the Harry’s House singer joined the cast for Don’t Worry Darling, replacing Shia LaBeouf. A few months after, it was revealed that the 38-year-old and her longtime fiancé Jason Sudeikis had ended their engagement. They were first spotted holding hands in early 2021 at a wedding in California.
The split comes after some much-talked-about drama surrounding the cast members of Don’t Worry Darling, involving an alleged feud with co-star Florence Pugh and rumors of Styles spitting on Chris Pine at the Venice Film Festival. Throughout the drama, Wilde had also been dealing with a custody battle with her ex, whom she shares her children Otis and Daisy with.
Shutting down rumors, she said in an interview that she did not leave Sudeikis for Styles. “The complete horses–t idea that I left Jason for Harry is completely inaccurate. Our relationship was over long before I met Harry. Like any relationship that ends, it doesn’t end overnight,” she told Vanity Fair.
