This Is What a Stussy x New Balance 550 Collab Could Look Like
Featuring the signature 8 Ball motif.
With the ongoing popularity of New Balance‘s kicks — specifically the 550s — and Stussy‘s collaborative releases such as the Nike Air Max Penny 2 and Converse Chuck 70 Hi, there’s no doubt a Stussy x New Balance drop would get sneakerheads excited.
Thanks to sneaker concept designer @suburbanmemories, we have a look at what a collaboration between the two brands could potentially look like. The creative added Stussy’s signature 8 Ball motif to the minimalist kicks, which are dressed in a white and black makeup. In addition to the branding, the Californian label’s graffiti logo is applied to the heel as well as the tongue.
There’s no news of an official collaboration between New Balance and Stussy, but we’d love to see it.
Recently, Stussy has been working on a range of partnerships in both footwear and fashion, including a team-up with Dries Van Noten. Meanwhile, New Balance recently launched a collab with Mowalola while a release with JJJJound is in the works. Aside from the partnerships, NB also debuted a new sneaker silhouette dubbed the 990v6 in late October.
