Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes Are Under an Internal Review for 'GMA3' After Relationship Rumors
The co-anchors are remaining off air until further notice.
Last week, it was reported that Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes were being taken off the air after their rumored relationship became a “distraction” since photos of their secret getaway went viral. Now, it’s been revealed that the GMA3 co-anchors are under an internal review, which will determine their future at ABC.
ABC News president Kim Godwin sent a memo to staffers, updating them on what is happening. Godwin revealed that Robach and Holmes will “remain off-air pending the completion of an internal review.”
“I understand that the continuing coverage can be distracting from the incredibly important work our team does here at ABC News,” she continued, adding that there will be a “rotation of anchors at GMA3 for the time being.”
Godwin added, “It is my hope that we will continue to focus our energy on what we do best, and I want all of you to know how immensely proud I am of your hard work and professionalism.”
