Bella Hadid Reveals Marilyn Monroe Platinum Blonde Hair
I guess blondes do have more fun.
Bella Hadid trades in her signature brunette locks for Marilyn Monroe‘s platinum blonde shade.
Starring in photographer Nadia Lee Cohen‘s latest creative vision, the artist revealed the stunning transformation on Instagram as the Palestinian-Dutch beauty was the spitting image of the Hollywood star. Wearing her newly bleached tresses in Monroe’s signature pin-curls, Hadid mirrored the actor’s inimitable style, donning a sparkling black shift with a sheer neckline. Blending the old with the new, super skinny ’90s eyebrows were paired with soft and feminine makeup. The model is no stranger to changing her look as she rocked bleached eyebrows for fashion week and even shaved her head for Marc Jacobs‘ Fall/Winter 2022 collection presentation this past June.
In the same shoot, which took place in Paris, Hadid can be seen with a short, jet black pixie cut and a cream white tweed suit set, so it’s unclear if her new bleach blonde look is her real hair. A closer glimpse at the image shows that her roots are also platinum, so it is possible Hadid could be taking after her sister Gigi and making the switch to the flaxen hue.
Alongside copper, bright blonde seems to be a favorite among celebrities in 2022 as Megan Fox and Kim Kardashian have taken a page from bombshells like Pamela Anderson and Marilyn Monroe.
