Season 2 follows Miriam just one year after coming out as bisexual, with her partner Natalie who was waiting for news on her deportation status. Channeling the stereotypical lesbian trope of U-hauling, also known as moving in together within the first few weeks, Miriam takes things a step further and offers to marry Natalie to avoid deportation.

Are Miriam and Nathalie still together?

As the two appeared to be perfect during Season 2, with Miriam even noting to TheThings that, “It was really fun, filming with my partner,” the pair might have broken up post-filming.

According to Bustle, the obsessed pair might have broken up after their first anniversary trip to Venice, in June. Miriam shared photo credits to her love, Natalie, in the captions noting that they were together. But afterward, the plot misses a few lines without a single appearance of Natalie.

Confirming the confusion, on June 20 a fan asked Miriam via Instagram caption, “single now?” Miriam replied, “Yes.” The following month, she posted the reel below giving fans a note on “self-love.” The pair was spotted at the Season 2 premiere party together and now appears to be back together, via Instagram.
