Ruslan Baginskiy Unveils "The Hat, Crystal Edition," the Ultimate Dream Bespoke Set

Cult-loved hat label Ruslan Baginskiy has launched an exclusive one-of-a-kind accessory set for bespoke-pieces collectors. Dubbed “The Hat, Crystal Edition,” the release is a unique approach from the brand towards individuality and self-expression, combining luxury headwear and limited-edition accessories.

Inside a delicate, circular white box with a black ribbon tie and handle, a classic felt canotier hat and six types of unique crystal-embellished accessories emerge. Highlights include the crystal-embellished bold necklace, hairpins, layered chain, RB earring, an ear-cuff set and the monogram brooch plus two ribbons.

The accessories can be worn as jewelry, hat accessories, all together or individually, and come with an illustrated book instruction for endless possibilities. When opened, the packaging reads, “Where inspiration brings you today,” a nod towards the brand’s celebration of personal style and versatility during the intimate moment of getting ready.

Ruslan Baginskiy, the founder of the label, shares in a press release, “This project is about individuality and personality to me. Facets are what make crystals shine, like the facets of our personality. I wanted the hat box to give way to self-expression. Some people will just wear one accessory, while others will put them on at once. It’s about how you want to feel at a given moment.”

“The Hat, Crystal Edition,” emphasizes the label’s commitment to local craftsmanship; Baginskiy engaged with Ukrainian jewelers to hand-crafted pieces for the project, maintaining its everything in-house production ethos.

Since 2015, Ruslan Baginskiy has revitalized the landscape of headwear through his multidisciplinary approach to design. As Ukraine continues to struggle with war-time conditions, frequent air strikes and power problems, the label continues to push its “Made in Ukraine” label as much as possible, a symbol of resistance and cultural values.
