Everything You Need to Know About SCRY Lab's Thermal Runaway Footwear Collection

No one does futuristic footwear better.

Pioneering footwear laboratory SCRY Lab has unveiled its second collection with APOC Store, making it on time for your holiday wish list. The release continues the label’s “Digital Embryo” design process series, which presents a sustainable approach to footwear design.

As per SCRY Lab, “The latest footwear collection explores the interference and coupling in chaotic irregular motion of environment. The project attempts to reproduce the behavior of the thermal runaway disorder in the laboratory environment and through the surreal vision to imply its ambiguous relationship with the rationality of reality.”

The awaited drop is comprised of five different silhouettes that bring cutting-edge innovation into real life. “SCRY CREST” and “SCRY CREST HIGH” are equipped with a strong, voluminous sole that sees a special look and feel of layers.

“SCRY Surge” showcases the perfect balance between sensibility and hardness through soft attributes and rhythmic streamlines. Meanwhile, “SCRY Laminar” offers a nod to the brand’s classics with curvilinear textures across the shoe’s body, which add a sense of fluctuation, calm and stretch. Elsewhere, “SCRY Eclipse” is designed with a mixture of sharp lines and gentle arcs, an embodiment of the beauty of power.

For those unfamiliar with the new-wave label, SCRY Lab was founded in 2020 to explore the “Interzone between digital design and ground-breaking manufacture for the footwear industry.” Its distinctive designs have awarded the label with a tight community of cyber footwear lovers worldwide.

Take a look at the futuristic lookbook above and head over to APOC Store’s website to cop the range.
