Everything You Need To Know About the Women’s Air Jordan 6 "Mint Foam"
Including its release date.
While the women’s sneaker community waits (impatiently) for unisex sizing to become the standard, we have the ever-growing category of women’s exclusives to celebrate. Though one doesn’t cancel out the other, there’s no denying that brands like Jumpman have been delivering quality drops in inclusive size runs. Thankfully, the idea of “shrink it and pink it” is nearly a memory, with brands tapping into elevated materials, story telling and resonating campaigns.
The forthcoming Air Jordan 6 “Mint Foam” joins two additional Fall 2022 women’s exclusives, the AJ5 Low “Arctic Pink” and the DIY-ready AJ4 “Blank Canvas.” All three models were officially revealed in late December, though the “Mint Foam” was teased in October by Instagram user @zsneakerdeadz. In early January, images of the model began circulating yet again, courtesy of @chickenwop_.
Finally, official images have landed, offering an up-close look at the forthcoming pair. The model comes in a premium leather upper in a blend of gray and white hues. The shoe’s titular shade lands on heel counters, midsole and rear Jumpman branding. Finishing touches include a chrome toggle and translucent outsole.
The Air Jordan 6 hit shelves in 1991. The silhouette cemented itself in basketball history as the shoe worn by Michael Jordan as he earned his first NBA Championship.
Look out for the Air Jordan 6 “Mint Foam” to release March 8 via SNKRS and select Jordan retailers.
