Emmy Rossum To Play Tom Holland's Mom in 'The Crowded Room' Series
An anthology show about people “who have struggled, and learned to live with mental illness.”
Emmy Rossum has been cast to play Tom Holland‘s mother in the upcoming Apple TV series titled The Crowded Room. According to Deadline, the storyline centers on people “who have struggled and learned to successfully live with mental illness.”
The first season is inspired by Daniel Keyes’ biography, The Minds of Billy Milligan. Holland will portray Danny Sullivan, who is “loosely” based on Billy Milligan. Amanda Seyfried is another notable cast member, who will play the part of a clinical psychologist.
