Angus Cloud on Why He's Been Absent From Twitter Ahead of 'Euphoria's Season 2 Finale
As his character Fez’s fate is in question.
As fans wait for Euphoria‘s highly anticipated Season 2 finale to air, Angus Cloud, who plays the beloved Fezco, has finally revealed the reason he hasn’t been active on Twitter.
Editor’s Note: This article contains spoilers for Euphoria.
The penultimate episode of Season 2 has left fans questioning Fez’s fate after he missed Lexi (Maude Apatow)’s play. The promo for the upcoming episode also shows Fez in a dangerous situation, leading fans to think he could potentially die. Though Cloud has yet to comment on what happens to his character, he confirmed his hiatus from Twitter has nothing to do with the show. “Taking a little break,” the actor told InStyle in a new interview. “I’ve been working a lot.”
If you follow Cloud on Twitter, then you know he tends to live-tweet whenever new episodes of the HBO series air. However, the week prior, he failed to do so, too. Instead, he was busy having a “lil NYC date” with Apatow, which he tweeted about. “I actually didn’t have time to watch it last night,” he told Complex after Episode 6 dropped. “I was actually hanging out with Maude when it was airing and stuff. I didn’t get to watch it yet, but I’m sure it was great because filming it was so nice.”
The Season 2 finale of Euphoria airs on HBO and HBO Max on Sunday at 9 p.m. EST.
