Miley Cyrus, Jungjae Lee and More Star in Gucci's "Love Parade" Campaign
Inspired by Hollywood Boulevard.
Gucci has debuted its latest campaign featuring a star-studded cast. Dubbed “Love Parade,” the project spotlights the house’s latest offerings worn by Beanie Feldstein, Deng Lun, Jared Leto, Jungjae Lee, Liu Wen, Miley Cyrus and Snoop Dogg.
“I thought about how my mother raised me as a devout worshipper of beauty,” Alessandro Michele speaks on the campaign and the origins of his life story. “‘About the gift of dreaming, which I cannot go without. About the aura of cinema, which generates mythologies.’ This is why I chose Hollywood Boulevard.”
Inspired by the aura of Hollywood Boulevard, the visuals transform obsessions and desires into characters “who steal life to become fashion, thanks to a performative space that blurs the boundaries between body and clothing.” Set in an extravagant banquet, Feldstein, Lun, Leto, Lee, Wen, Cyrus and Snoop Dogg are seen dining and mingling with other guests. The scene then transitions to the protagonists performing the Dionysiac ritual of dancing.
