Over the past years, sustainable fashion has seen a steady rise, with second-hand clothing becoming cool, thanks to apps like Depop and TheRealReal. Driven by the desire to consume consciously without compromising on style, London-based brand 3am Eternal is setting the new standard for vintage designer garments, debuting its Spring/Summer 2022 collection.
Founded in 2020 by two sisters, buyer and lover of vintage Emily and Fashion East alumni Caitlin Price, 3am Eternal reinvigorates and restyles pre-loved luxury apparel, doing away with seasons and the fickle trend cycle for a timeless and effortless approach to fashion. 3am Eternal borrows from the archives of international designer brands, reimagining the pre-owned garments as the closet staples of a modern woman with edge. Inspired by the bubbly 2000s and the decadent 80’s, mixed with the free-loving 60’s and 90’s rave aesthetics, 3am Eternal presents a collection of upbeat, colorful and richly textured clothing.
The SS22 line is comprised of strapless tops adorned with lavishly oversized bows, trunk purses with pearl handles, and acid blue mini dresses accented with pink ruffle trim, plucked straight from Josie Geller’s closet. Two-toned scarves are reimagined as tops, complete with pearl and gold braided chains for extra support, making them an essential for every it-girl come spring.
