Tiffany & Co. Trending in China After Eileen Gu's Big Win at Winter Olympics
The jewelry pieces the gold medalist wore at the award ceremony have gone viral.
American-born Chinese skier Eileen Gu made headlines after her big win on the fourth day of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. The gold medalist not only surprised viewers with her impressive four-and-a-half rotation trick, but also broke the internet with the jewelry she was wearing at the Games.
Gu, a brand ambassador for Victoria’s Secret, Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co., revealed the four rings on her hands as she took off her ski gloves for her award ceremony. The soon-to-be Stanford University student sported a Tiffany T diamond wire ring in 18-karat rose gold, Tiffany 1837 Makers medium slice ring in 18-karat gold, Tiffany 1837 Makers signet ring in sterling silver and Elsa Peretti diamond hoop ring in rose gold. For the flag-raising ceremony, she was also seen wearing a Tiffany Knot double row hinged bangle in yellow gold with diamonds. All of these styles are currently trending on Chinese social media platforms, WWD reports.
In addition to the aforementioned brands, the 18-year-old works with numerous brands spanning diverse categories, including Estée Lauder, IWC Schaffhausen, Visa and more.
