Vans Collaborates With Javier Calleja for Footwear Capsule
The latest art-driven silhouettes from the skate brand.
Following partnerships with MOCA and Geoff McFetridge, Vans Vault continues its series of artist collaborations with a limited edition capsule collection with Spain-based artist Javier Calleja.
Javier spoke on the collection, which he regards as a natural extension of his creative practice. He says, “With drawings you can go to the end of the world and back on the same day. Being able to explore new mediums and bring my art to life across my favorite footwear and apparel silhouettes is an honor.”
The forthcoming drop includes an assortment of printed tees, hoodies and accessories and four sneakers featuring Javier’s character-based artwork. Among the footwear offering is an Authentic silhouette with “YOU HAVE NO CHOICE” text, a chocolate brown-based SK8 Hi, a canvas-colored Slip-On and a Chukka boot with a dominant black sole.
The full collection lands at Vans and select retailers February 5.
